Can you provide a url?
Usually the easiest way to do it is to just go to the css element which is usually #respond and set it to display: none;

I want to remove the “Leave a comment” from pages. Happy to have it in posts, but not pages. Can’t figure out how to do this. It persists even though on settings->discussion I have unticked the option for allowing comments on articles
