Bad advice – was told that if you want support, then add ModLook tag other wise you will get constant comments that aren’t helpful. So, my apologies and will put this into themes as requested
Whoever told you that was dead wrong – perhaps you should point whoever that was to the forum guidelines – http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Forum_Welcome#Reporting_Threads.
You should also know that, at least speaking for myself, moderators don’t necessarily know more than many very experienced volunteers on these forums.
If you just want to turn off comments (the “Leave a reply” title and box), this is not necessarily theme-specific.
In the Page editor, click the Screen Options tab (upper right) and verify that ‘Discussion’ is checked in the Show on screen area.
Then just below the editor area, in the Discussion area, un-check Allow comments and Update; go to that page, refresh, and the “Leave a reply” title and box will be gone 🙂
