Go to Appearance > Widgets and add the widgets on left sidebar.

But I Don’t think there is an option to do that when when I Customize directly from the site. Only options for the right sidebar are visible.
But when I click ‘add widgets’ from the Dashboard, I could see a left sidebar option, but when I add widgets to it, no visible changes appear.
I just tried your issue, but it is working on my local server.
o.O I’m usually not skeptical, but still…how were you able to try my issue at your local server?

I think it has to do with the template if you can have a left sidebar or not. In Virtue – Premium it’s not possible since they hasn’t an option to have the meny on the left side.
In the theme which I’m using (ColorMag), I Don’t see an option to add widgets to left sidebar when I customize the site by clicking the ‘customize’ option from the admin bar above the webpage.
But when I navigate to the widgets section from the dashboard, I could see a left sidebar option; but when I add any widgets to it – nothing happens.
I installed the theme ColorMag and widget area appears like this.

That was what I was also trying to say. I could see that ‘Left Sidebar’ option. But when I add any widget to it, it doesn’t show up.

Some error are found on your site console. The above issues may be arise due to this errors. It would better that you fix this issues.

You didn’t mention the bugs actually…and want me to fix it :/
You can see the erros on following steps:
1. open your site in google chrome.
2. Press ‘F12’ key.
3. Go to ‘console’ & you will see the list error.
However, this is silly but i wan’t you to check if you have called that sidebar in the codes by using <?php dynamic_sidebar();?> function.
