LeftSide Theme Not Displaying

    Left Side theme appears broken or inactive. I only noticed this today. Could have been broken for the past week to 10 days. I auto-update all plugins. There is nothing I remember doing that may have affected appearance. It could be a temporary server glitch. Your thoughts on troubleshooting are appreciated.

    Hi Guido,

    Thank you for your prompt response.

    Whenever I view my site (Chromebook, using Chrome), I see the LeftSide layout for the first second or two. Then, it immediately reverts to unstyled HTML. See attached pdf for what I am seeing.

    On my dashboard, the LeftSide theme is labeled “active.”

    I just pulled the site up on an Amazon Fire using their Silk browser and it looks fine.

    Something changed and I am confused.??? I’ll try rebooting my Chromebook. Not optimistic this will resolve the challenge.

    Your troubleshooting thoughts are welcome.

    Hi,

    I notice you’re using a cache plugin? You can deactivate it and see what happens.

    If that’s not fixing the issue, install and/or activate a default theme from the Twenty series, to determine whether or not it’s caused by my theme. I’m pretty certain it’s not the theme, but caching related.

    Hi Guido,

    I deactivated the caching plugin and also rebooted the computer. It seems as if one or both actions resolved the issue. Thanks for your help, and especially your prompt response and willingness to help troubleshoot.

    Thanks for the update!
    FYI: my themes are very lightweight and straightforward; no (cache related) tricks to improve page load whatsoever.
