I am new to wordpress and at the start of creating a completely new site, using a domain I have previously used for some totally different content, and i still have all the html and files for that.

My question is, is it possible upload that to my wordpress host and have a fixed link on say my homepage saying ‘here’s the old site if your interested’ ?

I’m at the bottom of a new learning curve and dont have all the wordpress vocabulary yet, so im just trying to find out if its possible before spending time researching something that can’t be done

    thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

What you are looking for has very little to do with WordPress, more to do with your hosting. Place the old site’s files in a subdirectory and then set the link to that subdirectory. You can upload the files via FTP. The directory can be created parallel to the WordPress directories.
