Lens theme update help

Hello,

We are using lens theme 1.03 and lens theme 1.06 has just been released.

When updating we seem to have an issue with ‘panel’ – we get a green block covering the whole top of our page. If you code in display:none, then we have no top bar links. What were the main changes to the update?

We are conscious we need to update but do not know how to get round this. We have made modifications to the CSS code to change aesthetics – but nothing major. I have just started reading up about child themes, is this our only answer?

Any help or advice would be a massive help.
