    Hi there,

when I am on “membership-account/membership-checkout/?level=1” page and I’m not logged in, I’m a guest. The information for registration appears (Account Information) but if I fill every field and click on paypal button it will register and logged me in automatically (all ok about that) but it brings me to the home page and it dont do the payment… When I click on the paypal button it should register me, logged me in (this on background ofcourse) and redirect me automatically to paypal, but it doesnt do that. 🙁

Why not obligate the user to create an account then? And not appear the account information?
That way the user would create the account first. And then all worked fine.

I want to know how can I solved this little issue. Thank you.

With PayPal Express our workflow is to take the user to PayPal to pay, confirm that payment, and THEN create the user account. I understand that creating the account first could be preferred in some situations. You can mimic this by having users sign up for a free level first.

Still, there seems to be an issue with the PayPal checkout on your site. Can you share a link so I can take a look?

Also make sure to upgrade to the latest version if you are using Stripe + the Add PayPal Express addon. We fixed an issue related to this recently.

@matteo Your link doesn’t work. Maybe you deactivating the plugin. Can you open a separate thread to help you?

I see. I’m using BridgeDD to bridge with phpBB. And the phpBB is the handler of user registration. So I can presume thats the issue.

I need then to change the default page of paypal to ask for user registration.
That way just registered users will be able to buy and therefore it solves this problem.

Btw after that done, and with user logged in, is it possible to add new user custom user fields on the checkout payment so it can add those informations to the wordpress user account?

Maybe a form free plugin that do that? Any form plugin recomended?
And how can I add it and force it to be filled so the paypal button can work?

    Thanks!

I have change the way and bypass this problem. But the problem still exist I would say.
If you’ve PMPro and BridgeDD and you click on register on the checkout you’ll be redirected to home. You guys could check that and fix it if needed.
And for me you can close this. But, if you’ve time, please check this for others.

    Best Regards
