License key mismatch error

    Hello, I’ve tried installing translatepress with the latest version (2.9.22) on a new website and I’m getting this error message when trying to activate translatepress.

    License key mismatch. The license you entered doesn’t match the TranslatePress version you have installed. Please check that you’ve installed the correct version for your license from your TranslatePress account.

    What does this mean? Are there different types of licenses?! I’m using the latest version available for download from my translatepress account.

    I noticed that you mentioned the following error message:

    “The license you entered doesn’t match the TranslatePress version you have installed. Please check that you’ve installed the correct version for your license from your TranslatePress account.”

    This message should only appear for paid users. Could you please confirm whether you are using the free or a paid version of TranslatePress?

    If you are a paid user, please note that we are not allowed to offer support for premium versions on ww.wp.xz.cn. In that case, I will need to direct you to the appropriate support channel so we can assist you further.
