    hello, i heard such rave reviews about lifterlms and decided to try the free version out before going pro and everything seemed to be going well until i got to the part where i decided to create a quiz for one of my lessons. i clicked on the quiz question mark icon which opened a panel on the right of my course builder page, i ticked the options i needed and clicked on ADD A QUESTION button to pick multiple choice questions and everytime it just returns me back to the previous page.. nothing opens for me to type in the question and multiple choice answers. i tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin to no avail. so i decided to reach out to you guys first before making up my mind. i found a video on your site about adding quiz to lessons but that video was of an outdated version of the plugin.. please help.. i was doing all this on the staging platform of my website before moving everything live..

    @osborn1984,

    This is certainly not the intended behavior when you add a quiz question to a quiz. Whenever a bug like this is reported I roll up a quick test installation to make sure we haven’t missed something exceedingly obvious. This doesn’t happen often but it does happen. On this test I’m not seeing the reported behavior so let me ask a few clarifying questions to help get to the bottom of it:

    1) Are you being returned when clicking the “Add Question” button or when you click the “Multiple Choice” button?

    2) What is the “previous page” in this scenario? Since the page builder has a few different “screens” or “interfaces” that allow you to manage various pieces of a course the “previous page” is a bit ambiguous to me. is the whole builder actually reloading? Is the panel with the quiz information closing? Any details to clarify this would be helpful.

    3) Can you try disabling *all other plugins* except LifterLMS and then trying again to see if this behavior goes away. If it does we have a plugin conflict of some kind. You can then re-enable plugins one by one until the problem returns and let me know which plugin it is so I can try to see if we can prevent that in the future.

    4) I’m assuming you’re using the latest version of LifterLMS but if you’re not please upgrade and see if the issue goes away.

    If none of this helps please post a copy of your system report and I’ll see if I can find anything there.
