I would like to open images in a lightbox / fancybox / thickbox and obtain the same result as on the site http://www.autre-chemin.be/fleurs-de-montagne/index.php#mini-photos
That is, the lightbox must have a fixed width (but responsive), larger than the image, and the title and a description must be displayed to the right of the image and not below (at least on a computer).

It will certainly be necessary to work on the CSS, but is it better to start from the lightbox (or fancybox or thickbox) integrated into NextGen or use an external plugin ? I know this is possible by using the “custom” option in Other options – Lightbox effects, and indicating the source.
And above all, what would be the changes to be made in the CSS to achieve this result ?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

    Hi @sylvain091,

I am afraid that NextGen Gallery doesn’t have a lightbox effect like in the example that you have mentioned but the good news is that you can disable NextGen’s lightbox effect from “NextGen Gallery -> Other Options -> Lightbox Effects -> What lightbox would you like to use? : None” then install the lightbox effect needed as a separate WP plugin like “Auto Thickbox”.

    Thanks for your reply, mihai-imagely.
But the Auto Thickbox plugin is obsolete.
The question is : what is the plugin that would achieve the desired result ?
