    Dear community,

we use the free version of NextGEN Gallery Plugin to have the opportunity to place image sliders where ever we want to. This works perfect. But now there is a problem: on our website (it’s still in maintainance mode, so you can’t check it live) we have on every site a picture which should link to our homepage:

    <!– link to homepage –>

But instead of linking to our homepage, it opens just a lightbox, which shows the content of the homepage.

The same problem we have with some pictures: By clicking on the picture, the content it should link to opens in a lightbox. The pictures do not contain the plugin or any settings with the plugin. So I don’t know why the content opens via lightbox?
It seems like every linked element (pictures e.g.) link to a lightbox.
This problem occured for the first time when we installed the plugin…

    Can somebody help?

    Thank you!
    Vanessa

    Hi @vbauch,

We’ve replied to this one directly but for anyone else interested in the solution, we’ve suggested limiting NextGen’s lightbox to apply to galleries only from "NextGen Gallery -> Other Options -> Lightbox Effects -> What must the lightbox be applied to"
