    @simonesdesign – Do you have the same issue if you temporarily switch to a default WordPress Twenty series theme? There could be a conflict as your current theme appears to be trying to use its own bundled Lightbox effect … you might also consider turning off the NextGEN Gallery Lightbox effects under Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects.
