Hi, I’ve a strange “issue” with lightbox in single products.
I’ve a client site that sells shirts. Those shirts have a very fine and detailed pattern that, if I use a large image as the product main one, creates some moire patterns, which the client wants to avoid.

But, there is still the need to zoom-in on the image, so a lower resolution one is not an option. So I’m searching for a way to enable a 2-images lightbox, using a low resolution image for the cover (avoiding the dreaded moire effect), and a high resolution one for the lightbox/zoomed in. Is this possible?

I know that it’s possible to disable the zoom-on-hover effect, thus using the magnifier icon to open the built-in lightbox, but the resulting image is still downscaled and I need another click to view it at its native size. So, it’s possibile to use the built in lightbox but make the image already at 100% size?

    Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@barb82 By default WooCommerce will use two images, one is for display on the page and the other is for the larger zoomed in image. If this isn’t working out for you, you may need to either override the lightbox in the theme or us a plugin to use a different lightbox.

@barb82 We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
