    Hi –

I’m working with a client who uses Lightspeed as their point of sale applicaton in their store and they integrate that with WooCommerce on their site. My question is this; is there any issue with using Imagify to compress images when using this configuration? I’m concerned that if image names or file extensions are altered, that I might lose the connection between Lightspeed and WooCommerce.

    Thanks for any adivce.

    Hi @piltdownman,

    Thanks for your patience!

There will not be issues as long as the standard server settings are implemented.

Imagify does not change the name or location of optimized files so it will not affect things. Also, when we create WebP files, it should not cause the problem specifically with LiteSpeed or WooCommerce – it could break layout but it mostly depends on the theme itself (and is easily recoverable by turning off WebP feature).

    Hope that helps.

    Best Regards
