Limit Brute Force Attemps

Is there a way to limit the amount of incorrect password attempts – such as after a set amount of incorrect attempts to redirect to access denied for a set time? Dunno if it’s possible to hook into wordfence or another similar plugin such as limit logins which already perform such a function on the login page? etc
