I no longer recommend the use of [event_rocket_calendar] – see here – however you can supply a count argument if you wish.
(The reason it is “count” rather than “limit” for this shortcode specifically is simply because it the thinnest possible wrapper around the widget itself – and the widget uses the argument “count”.)
So, feel free to give that a shot but as soon as you can do something similar with [tribe_mini_calendar] I’d recommend you return to using that, as it is the official solution to this problem and I will not be providing onwards maintenance of [event_rocket_calendar].
I use [tribe_mini_calendar] no difference does not change with limit=”4″ or count=”4″ always showing 5

Right, but [tribe_mini_calendar] does not (currently) support either of those.
So, to be clear:
- You can use [event_rocket_calendar] and you can supply a count=”” argument
- It should work without any problems, at least for the time being
- With all that said, please consider it to be deprecated – and, if you choose to use it, you should switch over to [tribe_mini_calendar] as soon as you can (ie, as soon as that shortcode also supports a limit/count param
Does that explain things? (Sorry for the confusion!)
