Limit Notifications?

Hello,

Is it possible to limit the email notifications to a recipient? For example: If I approve 10 posts from a writer all at once, instead of sending out 10 separate emails, is there a way to just limit it to one per day or one every few hours. This would sure help to avoid email and hosting providers thinking that this is spam.
