limit number quotes

    Is it possible to limit the number of quotes when using the quotescollection_quote() template function. Been trying

    <?php if (function_exists("quotescollection_quote")) { quotescollection_quote('ajax_refresh=0&show_source=1&limit=2'); } ?>

    see the ‘limit=2’ which is used in the shortcode. But no luck.
