Line breaks not working

    Line breaks are converted to spaces and showing as single line items. See the example page, 2016 & 2012.

    I’ve made all the columns data type “Text Area”.

    In the editor, the cells also are displayed in single line, but when selected for editing they show as 2 lines (confirming they have imported correctly).

    Is there anything else I can do to get the line breaks to work?

    Hello @kretin,

    Line Break will not work if you configure the column data type as Textarea. You had better use the column data type as HTML so when you will hit Enter it will automatically take a line break.

    In that case what is the difference between single line text field and text area?

    Hello @kretin,

    There is no core difference between Single Line Text and Text Area. Single Line Text field is used to enter only small text in the cell, on the other hand, Textarea is use for adding a long text in the column cell.
