Line Breaks [WordPress 2.7]

    I am having trouble while creating a page. I’ll create the text that is to go into the page and there are no line breaks even after I hit “Enter” between each paragraph. I’ve also added the <p> & <br /> tags on the html side to make sure I am not missing anything. My page still comes up without the breaks. Any suggestions?

    All the <p> tags are in your source… And all the line breaks appears in your page…

    If you wonder why there is no space between paragraphs, look in your css stylesheet for the <p> styling…

    Thank you Simon… however I may be missing something but my current <p> styling is as follows:

    p {letter-spacing: -1px;}

    I’m still having the issue.

    I know this is a new issue with 2.7 and I did not have to address it before and the other themes I have active did not come across this problem.

    In your CSS, you also have :

    * {margin: 0; padding: 0;}

    🙂

    And this sets the margin and the padding of everything, including <p>, to 0…

    If you want to keep this, just write some margin and padding values to your <p> style…

    This is not a wp 2.7 issue… It’s a css issue… 😉
