Link checker plugin request

I would love it if someone could write a plugin that would check all the links in my WP blog (from inception until current) and then automatically draw a line through them (using CSS?) to indicate that they are dead.

Perhaps it could also de-linkify the dead links–or ideally that would be a settable option. Also it would be cool to get a report of what’s dead.
