First of all I wanted to compliment you on the excellent Plugin and that’s why I’m reporting a trivial error but an error nonetheless.
If I create a new category, I take the link and project it inside the Browser I get this error, which disappears when I link the first document. Now the problem is simple to solve, just link a first fictitious post created automatically when creating each single category, maybe a post with this sentence: Category under construction.
    Mistake:
Warning: Attempt to read property “labels” on null in D:\inetpub\webs\mysite\wp-content\themes\flash\inc\extras.php on line 192

Warning: Attempt to read property “name” on null in D:\inetpub\webs\mysite\wp-content\themes\flash\inc\extras.php on line 192

Warning: Attempt to read property “labels” on null in D:\inetpub\webs\mysite\wp-content\themes\flash\inc\extras.php on line 192

Warning: Attempt to read property “name” on null in D:\inetpub\webs\mysite\wp-content\themes\flash\inc\extras.php on line 192
    Feedback
    Greetings and congratulations again.

    Hello @alexbyby,

Thank you for your kind words and for bringing this issue to our attention. We appreciate your feedback and are always looking to improve our plugin.

Regarding the error you encountered when creating a new category, we currently do not provide template support for blank categories. However, I have informed our development team to explore the feasibility of adding support for blank categories in the future.

As for your suggestion to automatically create a post along with the category, we believe this might not be the best solution for all users. Different users have different needs, and automatically creating posts could lead to unnecessary clutter for some.

The error message you are seeing is coming from the theme you are using. To resolve this issue, please try changing the theme and see if the error persists. If the error is resolved with a different theme, it indicates that the issue is specific to the current theme.

Thank you once again for your feedback and for using BetterDocs. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out.

    Best regards,

I don’t find a solution in changing the theme honestly, as far as my advice is concerned, it remains as such, obviously a better solution for you, even if, I didn’t see it so bad since if you create a category it’s to write in it, so if you have a first basic Post already assembled I don’t see it so rough, however points of view it is always better than seeing the error that can make it seem like a malfunction of the Plugin to the less experienced. Anyway thanks for the immediate response, this leads to further positive feedback.

The theme as you can see from the error addresses is ‘flash’
You have to create the empty category of posts inside it, then take the direct link from the category and the error comes out.
No error with the category initialized or with a minimum of 1 post inside it.
Obviously I don’t think there’s any problem since the error only comes out on the url of the empty category
    Regards.
