Link-Less Menu Headings?
-
WP 5.0.7, Classic Editor
Suffusion Child Theme, 4.4.9
Browsers, latest versions of Firefox and ChromeI need to organize menu entries under headings without links (as in the sidebar). Following instructions in this thread: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/remove-the-link-from-parent-menu-item/, I set up the heading URLs as #.
Result. When hovering the heading, the cursor changes to a hand as expected. The bad news is that clicking the headings reveals no sub-menu entries.
Am I doing something wrong? Have I missed a step? What can I do to fix this problem?
Many thanks for your help with this promising plugin, Anna

Hi,
Hope you are doing well!
For this simple purpose, you will have to set the parent menu item as a custom link and just put ‘#’ in the URL field from the menu settings of the WordPress admin panel.
And select sub-menu item as a page/category/post/tag whatever you want your sub-menu to be. Please refer to the following detailed article on how to create a hierarchical menu in WordPress.

Silly me… I hadn’t enabled “Expand Sub Menus on Parent Item Click.” Please pardon me for bothering you, Anna
No worries Anna. I hope that your issues are resolved now. Thanks for reaching out to responsive menu plugin.
