  • Hello radaarshin

To assist you effectively, could you please provide us with the following information:

Which login registration page are you using?
What is the version of the Edwiser Bridge plugin you have installed?
What is the version of WordPress you are currently using?
The “Lost Password” link of Edwiser Bridge’s login/registration page redirects you to the wp-login lost password page. Is that page active on your site?

Once we have this information, we will be better equipped to assist you in resolving the issue.

Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to your response.

      Best regards,

Before I answer your questions, let me tell you that I did some debugging on my website and discovered a conflict in some links. I fixed that problem.

      • I use User Account page for registration
      • I have installed the version 3.0.8 of the Edwiser Bridge plugin
      • WordPress version is 6.7.1
      • After debugging my website and fixed incorrect links the “Lost Password” link of Edwiser Bridge’s login/registration page redirects me to the wp-login lost password page which was not the case before debugging.

Now my question is can avoid logging in or getting a new password through WordPress?

      Thank you.

      Hello radaarshin

Glad to hear you were able to resolve the conflict with the links.

Regarding your question about the “Lost Password” functionality, the free version of Edwiser Bridge is designed to integrate with the core WordPress user management system. This means it utilizes the standard WordPress lost password functionality, which is why you are being redirected to the wp-login lost password page.

If you would like to have a separate lost password recovery workflow, I recommend considering an upgrade to the Pro version of Edwiser Bridge. The Pro version allows you to integrate with the WooCommerce login/registration page, which offers its own distinct lost password recovery process.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or if there’s anything else I can assist you with.

      Best regards,

I solved the problem. I let the lost password go through WordPress but I changed the WordPress logo with my company logo. Also after the password is changed I redirect the user to the Edwiser Bridge log in page. That means I have bypassed the WordPress Dashboard for users. I think it is redundant.
      Thank you for your help.

It’s good to know you’ve found a temporary solution. However, relying on customizations to the core WordPress lost password page can become difficult to maintain in the long run, especially with WordPress updates. Edwiser Bridge Pro offers a more robust and future-proof solution by integrating directly with the WooCommerce “My Account” page and its password reset feature. This ensures a consistent and reliable experience for your users without the need for manual customizations.

      Thanks,

      Edwiser Support Team
