    Hi!

    Love the concept of this plugin and I love the preview that I can see when I’m editing it, but once I publish it all I see is the text that I’ve typed and then [visual-link-preview encoded=”awholebunchofencryptedgibberishhere”].

    I’m hoping you can help.

    I can provide screenshots if needed.

    It should work anywhere that shortcodes work. Unfortunately it looks like the forum solution you’re using doesn’t actually allow for shortcodes?

    Fantastic! That was it! I had to install another plugin for additional bbpress shortcode functionality to fix it.

    Sure!

    The issue I was experiencing was taking place in bbPress. I installed the appropriately named plugin “bbPress Do Short Codes” found at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/bbpress-do-short-codes/
