link problems

i have a website that i am doing on wordpress, i installed pretty link and made it work. great!

now i have two problems: my images are links to a page, they do not use the pretty link, they just use the old permalink, does this mean i need to relink all images to use pretty link?

and another one – i use two languages – chinese and english, the chinese links dont work. WHY?
