Link sharing is broken!

As stated, the link sharing capability of this plugin is broken. Images and video-sharing works well, but adding a link is broken. See bug example below:

http://yourdomain.com/activity/p// (shown at the top of user profile)

The shared link does not show in the group page nor forum (practically disappears), and the status at the top of user profile links to a not found page.

How to fix this? Adding a link to video description also does not work.

I have the same problem. Interestingly not for all users. The buddypress install I am working on is:

http://urbanpermie.com/

For some users the post simply disappears when posting a link (using Activity Plus link posting).

I am running BP version 2.2.3.1 and
BuddyPress Activity Plus 1.6.1

Hey there guys,

Hope you’re well today and sorry for the delay on this one 🙁

I’ve been testing this on my end and in both activity page and group pages links are being displayed properly.

I am having this same issue. I have a test environment and a production environment. I can post links just fine in the test environment but not in the production one. I have the same versions of a plug-ins in both environments. Any hints on how to get this working again?
