link tag does not work
-
Link to event that is generated by [link] tag does nothing if person clicking it is logged in into google account. Simply calendar page of that person is opened but nothing happens.
On mobile I there is a prompt “This event cannot be found”.This link generated by [link] tag looks for me like this:
https://www.google.com/calendar/event?eid=EVENTIDHERE&ctz=Europe/WarsawCalendar is set to public. Event is in that calendar and I tried to set it both to public and to “inherit settings from calendar”. Gsuite calendar app is set to “allow people outside of organization to view any information in calendars but cannot edit them” (not sure how this is exactly phrased, I use gsuite in different language)
When I open link generated by [link] tag in private browser window (where I am not logged in into google) it shows nice google generated event page.
What I want to achieve is for page users to be able to see google meets link associated with the event. It is visible in view that is reachable if someone is not logged in into google (in private window).
I also tried using [add-to-gcal-link] tag, but this one does not copy google meets link to other person’s calendar.
