Link View : Hiding Image if Empty

    Hello there.

    Im finding that LinkView is a great plugin to feature our site’s listing of artists and creatives. However, Im wondering if there is a conditional that one can set for link images.

    About 90% of the people can provide me an image (like a banner sized image) for their link listing. However, for the 10% who just dont want to provide one (or cant), I run into the problem of that listing still creating an img element, with it being blank inside. Is there any shortcode for Linkview that can be used to say “show image unless empty”?

    My current shortcode
    [linkview show_img=1 cat_name="Art from SoCal Furs" list_symbol=none cat_columns="css(num_columns=2)" link_columns=2 link_items='{"image_l": "", "name_l": ""}' ]

    Thanks for the info.

    In the next version I will include a check if an image is available. I also think of an option to change the behavior if no image is available: show nothing, show text instead, or something else?

    If you have some ideas here I would be open for some suggestions.

    A shortcode attribute for that is now available in the today released version 0.6.3.
