Link with Redirection Plugins / SEO
-
Hi,
I like your plugin but what it really needs is the following:
- In the list you need the option to “Ignore” so that it is removed from the main list and marked as “Reviewed” so that once you have seen the issue you dont want to see it again on the list. It should still be logged but not shown on the main list.
- There should be an option to link with leading redirection plugins and when the “Redirect” option is selected it will link to the selected Redirect Plugin (first selected in Settings) and flagged as “Redirected”.
- When the above is done there should be a filter option to be able to view “Current”, “Reviewed”, “Redirected”, “Trash” items.
- A stats page which list the different 404 urls with a count to show how often they occurred. In addition the stats page should have the ability to limit the number of items per page, the date range to display and sort by the URL Column and the Count Column.
If you can achieve the above then I think you have a really nice way of creating a plugin to manage 404s and help people increase SEO ranking by displaying related content for typos and alternative search criteria.
I hope the above is useful.
Nathan
