Linked posts produce 404

I’ve written before about this, but I never got an answer. I hope for some attention to this problem.

I had no problem with Multisite language switcher first, everything was working smoothly. But that changed about 6 months ago, after an update. Now only categories will link properly between the languages, but the individual posts under those categories produce a 404 when trying to see the post in another language.

For example:
http://sithoniagreece.com/halkidiki/accommodations/ properly links to http://de.sithoniagreece.com/halkidiki/unterkunft/

But any individual post just drops the category from the url, and thus produces a 404.
Example:
http://sithoniagreece.com/halkidiki/sarti/accommodations/camping-armenistis/ links to http://de.sithoniagreece.com/halkidiki/sarti/camping-armenistis/
This produces a 404, since the category just is dropped from the url.
(The link should be: http://de.sithoniagreece.com/halkidiki/sarti/unterkunft/camping-armenistis/)

As I said, I didn’t have this problem before. These are custom post type taxonomies, and at first it was working fine. But I updated both your plugin and WordPress, so I guess it was something in that. I have no idea what. Could you please check it out? I would appreciate a response.
