• This WP to LinkedIn Auto Publish plugin is working great but I can’t see why all of the post description content isnt feeding through to LinkedIn. In my sharing options I have the Advanced box ticked so it shows the image then [POST_CONTENT][POST_LINK].

I’d like it to show all of the post content and not just an excerpt. Any help would be appreciated.

  • 1300 was the character limit for text content in LinkedIn posts ,which is 3000 now, we will update it in the upcoming release.
    Thank you for your feedback.

Thanks for the response. This is cutting off after only 700 characters. If I could work out how to increase this to 1300 or even 3000 that would be great.
Any information of why the WP to LinkedIn Auto Publish plugin is only allowing 700 characters to feed through to LinkedIn posts would be much appreciated.

    Thanks Jamie

I have it working now thanks, but no image. Should it pull across the featured image? Thanks

    LinkedIn documentation at
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/linkedin/marketing/integrations/recent-changes lists
“UGC (shareCommentary.text field) and Share (text field) APIs increased the maximum text length limit from 1,300 to 3,000 characters” so the 3000 limit applies to pages also.
    Hope this helps.
