    Hello Team,

I am facing an issue and I’d like to check if it is coming from your plugin.
I have added the HR email within the plugin in the HR Email Address and the job openings I am adding are being automatically added to LinkedIn under my company name but as unverified. (Image Attached)

    Awaiting you reply,

    Hi @melfar1 ,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this issue.

We understand your concern about job positions from your website being posted on LinkedIn as unverified additions with an apply link.

To clarify, the WP Job Openings plugin does not have any built-in integration with LinkedIn or any functionality that automatically shares job postings with third-party platforms. Based on the message you mentioned, it appears that LinkedIn has sourced the job post from another site or service.

Here are some potential reasons this could be happening and steps you can take to address the issue:

    1. Job Aggregators or Scraping:

Some job aggregators or services may scrape job listings from publicly accessible websites, including those using the WP Job Openings plugin. LinkedIn might display such jobs if it receives them from a partner or aggregator.
    2. Review Job Post Source on LinkedIn:

Please check the job listing on LinkedIn to see if it mentions the source of the post. LinkedIn often indicates where the job was pulled from (e.g., “via [Aggregator Name]”). This can provide a clue about how the listing was added.
    3. Website Crawling or Indexing:

If your website’s job posts are publicly accessible and not restricted by robots.txt or meta tags, they could be indexed or scraped by third-party services. This could lead to your job listings appearing on LinkedIn without your explicit input.

    Suggested Actions:

    1. Restrict Crawling:
If you want to prevent unauthorized access or scraping of your job posts, you can update your website’s robots.txt file or add noindex meta tags to the job post pages. Let us know if you’d like assistance in implementing this.
    2. Contact LinkedIn Support:
You can reach out to LinkedIn Support to inquire how the job was sourced and request its removal if necessary. Provide them with details about the listing and your website.
    3. Monitor Server Logs:
Review your server logs to identify any unusual bot activity or traffic from job aggregators that might be scraping your site’s content.

If you have any further questions or need help implementing the suggested actions, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

    Regards,
    Vidya K V
