Linking form elements’ visibility to database

Hi, I have a client who has a form for their customers to apply for courses they offer. The want to know if Caldera forms has the means to link to another database they maintain, so that when a course is fully booked and they update this in their database, that course checkbox will be hidden in the form, to be replaced by a note indicating the course is sold out.

The clients don’t have technical knowledge, and want to maintain their forms themselves, which is why I selected Caldera because you can do sophisticated stuff with it, with just a little training.

Can you advise as to the feasibility of this with Caldera or one of your plugins, I’m open to any suggestions you might have.
