    Thanks Luke.

    That is an expected behavior.

The product B019GRZSAO is not available in the UK store and since you are using a pure ASIN link without including any product name, the plugin does not know the search term to direct it to for a UK visitor

To resolve this issue, you can use a more descriptive URL (https://www.amazon.com/Starry-Station-Touchscreen-Parental-Controls/dp/B019GRZSAO/) – this URL structure allows the plugin to use the search instead of precise ASIN for foreign markets.Note that you need to ensure that the option to use the search term instead of specific product is enabled in your settings (i.e. select “Yes” for the setting “Redirect to search page for international visitors”). If you do that, the plugin will instead redirect the users to page with search for “Starry-Station-Touchscreen-Parental-Controls” and Amazon will find nearest product matches.

If this issue is infrequent (i.e not too many visitors come from countries where this product does not exist), you may chose to continue with your existing setup.

    Hope this makes sense.

Ah ok – makes sense! So is there a way to get a URL like the one you posted from the product page or is this a manual process?

Yeah, sure there is (there are multiple actually)

    1. WHen you see the product you want to link to, copy the product name, search for it on Amazon and then use the link on the search results. Usually the URLs provided by Amazon include a product description

    2. More simply, you can add your own product name if that is easy.. for example, in your case,

    You can even do

All of these links will go to the intended product.

The product name that you include in the links does not really matter. It can be any text that indicates the product that can be searched.

    Regards,
    R
