Links do not appear

I am trying to insert a link into a page. It does not appear, just a blank space. There is a message on the bottom of the page that says it has been approved. This has been going on for 8 hours now. I cleared the cache in Safari numerous times. I have followed instructions on inserting the link manually but all off the wording below the link turned into the link. Fascinating. I would leave it, but I really wanted the link to open in a new window. I would appreciate any help. The website is FutureTroops.
