Links in the widget

Can i change the links in the widget where it shows the date to go to the same link as when you click on the description?

Presently, when you click the date in the widget it goes to the calendar view > agenda. I have it set for agenda as default view.

However, when you click on the description it goes to the actual event page. Is there a way to make both the date and the description go to the actual event page?
