Links missing after WP reinstall

    After my host deleted my site without having any backup of it i had to reinstall everything from at ftp backup + db backup (wp db backup plugin). The site works ok again, but some data in plugins are missing. For instance are all my pretty links (pretty link plugin) gone and i can’t create new ones either.
    Any tips on what i am doing wrong (besides choosing the wrong hosting)?

    Sounds like the backup file didn’t have the pretty links tables in it. You’ll need to use a tool like PHPMyAdmin and remove the “db_version” row for Pretty Link in the wp_options table. The following query should pull it up.

    “SELECT * FROM wp_options WHERE option_name LIKE ‘%prl%’;

    Deactivate the plugin before you delete that row.

    Thanks you so much for your help. I could not recover my links, but now Pretty Link is working again so i can create new ones.
