Yes, that should work. That depends on the system where you click on the mail address. If the browser you use has no link to any email software it could happen that the click does not work as expected.

THanks, it’s not working in firefox or chrome. The browsers do work with other links so it is linked to my outlook.
    Any other ideas? :-/

Please tell the address of the website. I would take a closer look.

The header of your theme, containing the logo and menu, overlaps the contact bar. Thus the links are not clickable.

OK great..so…how can I fix that?

I had to change the padding of the header to come down because the contact bar was visually over the menu. Now it overlaps the bar, even though it doesn’t look like it? How can I fix that?

The simplest way would be to place the contact bar at the bottom of the viewport, fixed. You can set that in the options page of the bar.

Thank you again. So I made it “fixed” and the link works. But now, the menu/sticky header hides under the contact bar when I scroll down (in google chrome)

So I am thinking again that the bar would be best placed at the bottom of the page.

Thanks, that won’t work because the idea is to have contact info at first glance, at the top. Never mind, I guess I will keep it without the link.
