Looking at the page, the links “Lien” and “Taverne de Philo” open in a new tab when using Safari, but in Chrome nothing happens. The source code show the correct target="_blank" attribute.
In Chrome I do get a lot of errors in the browser console relating to smoothscroll.js.
[Intervention] Unable to preventDefault inside passive event listener due to target being treated as passive. See https://www.chromestatus.com/features/6662647093133312
wheel @ smoothscroll.js?ver=1556445485:379
It is very likely that Chrome stops executing scripts if an error has been found.
Thanks. I fixed the issue with the scroll erros by disabling the “smooth scrolling” in the theme settings but the links still do work in Chrome nor Edge. any other idea ?
thanks
I still have the issue of the links on the event-slider not working when clicking on them (if you right click and open in a new tab it works). Page is https://brasserieduclocher.be/philomene/home-before-xmas-2020/
I thought it might be a wordfence FW issue but I see no hit in the logs. And the same links work with an other slider pluggin (Post Slider – that I’d like to get rid of as it doesn’t do what I want) …it seems to be something embedded in this plugin.
can someone help ?
thanks
Alex
