Hi, I am creating the footer of my webpage, which is using the Customify theme. The footer area as provided by Customify is using the Editor widget from SiteOrigin.
What I find is that each time I click on the created link within the footer I get to a 404 error page, no matter what page link I write there.
I am using WP 6.9 and the Elementor page builder.
    Any help appreciated
    Best regards

Hi, thanks for posting your question.

If you suspect the SiteOrigin Editor Widget is causing a link error you could exclude SiteOrigin from the investigation but adding your link within a Text Widget which is a core WordPress widget.

    Thanks!
For some reason the original link, “”https://localhost/wordpress8/gdpr/terminos-y-condiciones/‎”
is transformed into: “https://localhost/wordpress8/gdpr/terminos-y-condiciones/%E2%80%8E” after it is rendered on the front-end. This is not happening with the other links within the same editor widget instance.
Any idea what may be causing this?

Thanks for the update and specifics. Does the issue occur if you insert a Text Widget instead of an Editor Widget and insert a link into the Text Widget?

Hi, I don’t seem to have any default “text widget” as such, to try within the extensive set of widgets that I have. From what you say should I assume that WP comes with one? Being this the case how do I get it?
I have tried the Personalized HTML widget and the Paragraph widget as well to no avail.
    Thanks

Thanks for the update. If the link behavior persists beyond the SiteOrigin Editor Widget then most likely the issue is not related to the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle.
