Thank you for your feedback.
I am working on the updated version of this plugin and the new version will have many more features added including your above mentioned requests.
I will be uploading it in this week or so and will notify you.
Thanks, that would be great. Do you already know when you will publish the new version?
Just released the updated version.
Bad news: I updated the plugin and lost the Aweber forms on multiple sites!
After the update all widgets and configuration details are gone. I have to reinstall all widgets and configure them again.
I am not amused …
Sorry to hear about that.
The whole plugin has been recreated from scratch with many modifications and more features..
I appreciate the extra functionality, but it would have been better if existing forms wouldn’t disappear after an update. That makes me anxious for future updates.
So I am considering using the Aweber javascript copy/paste method again. Otherwise I probably would have bought the PRO version of your plugin.
I have renamed some files in the plugin that has caused this issue for you.
You will not face this same issue in any future update/s.
Choice is all yours. You can use the aweber copy and paste javascript code but that will slow down your site’s speed.
This is the main reason I created this plugin. It does not load anything from external sources and does not affect your site’s speed.
Can I still access the previous configuration in the database? That would help.
I think the price for the pro version is fair. So I might give it another try.
What kind of license comes with it? Can I use it on multiple sites? And also on client sites? There is nothing about the license on your site.
In phpmyadmin > wp_options > search for widget_twb_aweber_optin_widget
you will widget data there.
You can use the Pro version on your sites only. If you want to use on clients sites then you will have to purchase the separate plugin for each client.
And what about a developers license for unlimited client sites?
I only work with developers licenses for clients. Also for the paid themes I use. It makes life much easier for me.
I am working on licensing.
You can also get the unlimited site’s license.
I will update you about this in an hour or so …
Please check the Unlimited Sites License http://theweb-designs.com/plugins/
Let me know if you need any question?
Thanks
Thanks. That’s what I need. Will order it.
I bought the developers license and am happy with the extra option “Redirect Already Subscribed Users to Following URL”.
I have 2 more questions:
1) What does “Aweber Form ID” do in the advanced section? What’s the difference in using this field and not using this field?
2) I always use tab when I fill in forms, but with this form tab doesn’t put the cursor in the next field. So after entering my name I would like to press tab to enter my email address. And after entering my email address I would like to press tab and enter to submit the form. Can you please fix this in the next update?
Thanks!
Wouter
