I am afraid that currently, it won’t be possible to add the List-Unsubscribe header in the Email Subscribers plugin.
Also, we won’t recommend changing the core plugin files as they will get overridden on the plugin updates.
We are evaluating the received users’ requests regarding this feature and will let you know if we plan to add this to the plugin.

We are glad to inform you that the Email Subscribers plugin now adds the ‘List-Unsubscribe‘ email header while sending the emails using WP Mail and some other mailers. This will help in improving the deliverability of emails.
This feature has been implemented in the version 4.7.2. Please update to the latest version and let us know how it goes.

Hey! Thank you for your consideration. I am still failing to see the unsubscribe header. I have updated the plugin and reinstalled it.

I am sorry for not replying to you in a timely manner.
Can you let us know which sending method you have configured for sending emails? You can check it from the menu Email Subscribers –> Settings –> Email Sending tab.
In the lite version, the List-Unsubscribe header is supported in WP Mail and PHP Mail sending methods.
Let us know if you are using these methods and still facing the issue.
