Actually, it does. But you obviously don’t have the background knowledge yet to realise that it does. Which means that you need to go back and read a whole heap of basic how-to pages in the Codex before you can understand it. (your link is unavailable, BTW)

Did you read the seven pages linked in the third paragraph of the Template Tags page? If not, why not?
