    Hello,
I have encountered an issue where, after changing the listing directory (e.g., to /carlist/ through the Motors settings), the single pages still use /listings/. For example, instead of showing example.com/carlists/mercedes-benz-sprinter-317, it shows example.com/listings/mercedes-benz-sprinter-317.

Although this is not the biggest problem, the major issue is that anyone can access example.com/listings/, which displays a broken listing view with filters, etc. Is there any plan to fix this and make it dynamic to the new directory?

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out,

Have you resaved the permalinks as well under the wp dashboard > settings > permalinks section as well? If not, try to re-save it

Regarding the listings archive page thank you for the feedback shared, our dev team will improve this in the future updates

    Best regards

Hello @mgordon7 , thank you for your response.

I have already tried resaving the permalinks as suggested, but the issue persists. For instance, my inventory URL is set to example.com/car-list/, yet individual listings still appear as example.com/listing/audi-a6-2016 instead of following the custom structure like example.com/car-list/audi-a6-2016.

Additionally, there’s another concern: if a user removes the specific listing slug (e.g., audi-a6-2016) from the URL and directly accesses example.com/listing/, it displays a broken archive page with an incorrect style, unlike the proper /car-list/ view.

Is there a way to ensure that the URLs for individual listings follow the custom structure or, at the very least, prevent access to the broken /listing/ archive page?

    Thank you for your assistance!

    Hi @shaezee,

Can you please try by changing ‘“TestListings” rewrite (URL text)‘ to car-list by navigating to Dashboard > Tools > STM Post Types as shown in the screenshot?

After this settings and re-saving permalinks, the single listing URL should appear like example.com/car-list/audi-a6-2016.

    Best regards
