litespeed and WP Plugin

    Currently, I have a vps server with litespeed essentials license.

    My question is: Since I have a Leased LiteSpeed Web Server
    Web Host Lite     installed on the server, do I need to install the litespeed plug-in when starting a new wordpress site? If so, do I leave on default or I need to tweak here and there to enhance the site’s performance?

    this is a WP site example:historicoescolar.com

    this is a normal site: traducaodedocumentos.com

    2) if the site is not WordPress, what settings should I configure to enhance the site performance?

    yes, you will need the cache plugin , the server just has a cache engine, you will need the cache plugin to instruct cache engine how to cache , when to purge …etc

    the configuration on the server side should be left as it was, do not change it , let plugin to control the cache

    for your 2nd question, you can use Rewrite Rule to instruct server to cache the page as that link indicates

    Thanks for taking the time in shedding light on my post.

    I will follow your instructions on item 2. Interesting enough that when you are in the litepeed plugin, it ask to key key with cloud cdn. Well, I tried one but the problem was that the site went offline and I could not figure out why. I end up removing the cloud cdn and the site came back.

    Always tweaking here and there to enhance our online experience.

    the domain key is needed for QC CDN and other online service, it is not mandatory for caching on LiteSpeed webserver
