Love the LiteSpeed Cache plugin, however, it’s conflicting with the Like button in my WordPress posts. Several followers advised they couldn’t like my post as it continually displays “Loading” and not the Like button. This started happening after installing LightSpeed. Is there any option that I should turn off in the settings to fix this issue?
Cheers

That’s really weird as you’ve probably never been to my site before.
Some posts don’t display the Like button but only the “Loading…” message and several of my readers contacted me to advise they couldn’t like my post. These are readers who like/comment on my posts almost weekly, so, legit.
Another reader mentioned that she could click Like in the WP Reader, but not in my actual post, but not sure which post she was reading. I can’t reproduce it but maybe it’s because I’m logged in to WP.
I’ve disabled the Guest Mode, but the Like button still isn’t loading. It seems to only load when I’m logged in. I’ve had several people test this for me again and it’s not loading on a laptop or mobile device. 🙁
thanks, once you clicked “send to LiteSpeed” button , it will generate you a 8-upper-case-letter string, that’s your report number , please share me that , so I can locate your report.
I’ve disabled the option and my friend tested it on a mobile device but it still isn’t loading the Like button and just hangs in “Loading”. I get very good site speed results with the LSC plugin and really don’t want to disable the plugin, which WordPress keeps advising me to do. 🙁
Forgot to mention, not sure if it’s connected but after disabling the couple of options you suggested in this ticket and clearing the cache, I ran another GTMetrix and PageSpeed INsights tests.
GTMetrix returned: “Analysis Error. The page took too long to load” where I had a score of 100%
PageSpeed Insights returned: 51 mobile and 87 desktop. Before the mobile was at around 80 and the desktop at 97. It’s so disappointing as I’ve noticed my page view stats in the WP dashboard decreased the last few days.
I’ve disabled that and purged the cache. Tested the Like button on a couple of devises and it seems as though it’s working. I’ll wait until my readers that told me they couldn’t like posts, to get back to me.
However, I’ve been disabling so many options that my site is now very slow on PageSpeed Insights: 46 mobile, 88 desktop – not great.
GTMetrix displays: “Analysis Error. The page took too long to load”.
I installed LSC for the obvious reason to speed my site up and before we started disabling a lot of the options, GTMetrx was giving the site 100%.
How can I push the speed of my site but still keep the Like button active for my readers? Do I need to leave the iFrame disabled and then slowly enable the disabled options again?
