The more i think about it, the more i think it could be related to your php version instead difference in server. Are you already using php 7? Whats your php version?

Is it possible to create a staging site and give me access to it? I can not use lightspeed for testing because its not open source.
Maybe its helpful if you enable debug mode of wordpress. Please also install a plugin like query monitor for checking your site against php errors and than run it another one.
