I have not seen that happen before — do you know if your site is using CloudFlare or any other front-end proxy? (Maybe nginx, varnish, etc.?)

Yes, I am using nginx. I also confirmed with the host and no HTTPS traffic or calls are being sent to the site.

I also uninstalled and deleted the database information before reinstalling. The same error occurs.

    Thanks

Is nginx being used as a front end proxy, or as a standalone web server?

Also, can you confirm if you go to the WordPress Settings menu, under General, do you have an https URL in the “Site Address” or “WordPress Address” field? I am not suggesting to change anything yet — there may be a reason if they are different.
