    somebody knows?

Its not kept anywhere besides the database, and only for as long as you have it set to be blocked for. Currently we do not offer logging (to prevent database/file system bloat, but we re discussing an option for this. Whether or not this makes it into a future release is dependant on viability among other things.

maybe I not properly written …
when I open the tab Live Traffic I see the history of my site visits. If I turn off and then turn on again, the story shows not from the moment when I turn on it again, but earlier too.
Did I understand correctly that the log is NOT stored in the database or stored?
but why I see the story?

And if stored, the question was how to prevent it from increasing too much?
ie history is stored only for example for 1 day or no more than XX KB?
and how can manually delete the log, if necessary, from the database?

I did not activate any locking ..

I apologize. I think I didn’t understand what you were asking. Those are stored in the database for a length of time you specify under “How long is an IP address blocked when it breaks a rule:” on the options page under firewall rules.

    there is one thing ..

    I apply the settings screens

    options

    live activity

blocking time is set for 30 minutes, but history shows more than 3 days in the tab “all hits” and more than 10 days on the “logins and logouts” (((
it is on the local host

on a live site – time – 5 minutes, see the story for 16 hours on the tab “all hits”, almost 2 days on “humans”, more than 2 days in the page “not found”

    how is this possible?

Dear developers, I will be grateful if you could find a way to answer my questions.
    thank you.

I’m checking into this for you.

Thats not saying the ip is blocked. Live activity showing the last time it was there. Depending on the traffic on the site and the tab you are on, there may be some that linger in the feed, however, they are stored in the database until cleared by rotation, etc.

Have you checked the box to “Block IP’s who send POST requests with blank User-Agent and Referer”?

I understand that IP is not blocked.
the question was exactly about why history is kept so long and whether it is possible to adjust the frequency of its update in order to database was not very big?
“Block IP’s who send POST requests with blank User-Agent and Referer” is not marked (empty).

ie I have on the local host “all hits” shows a more than 6 days. “login and logout” – 13 days.
on a real site “all hits” over a 15 hour, and the “page not found” – more than 5 days.
respectively, all this information is stored in the database and increases its size (((
where and how can I set the period of rotation of this information?
